My hobbies

My favourite hobbies are Cooking, knitting & hand embroidery. Cooking gives me immense pleasure. When people like my cooking and appreciate me, it gives me a great sense of fulfilment. I like to cook different types of food such as Indian, chines, western food; it gives me satisfaction and helps in keeping myself active and busy.

Knitting and Hand embroidery is my passion. I like the colours of thread and wools. I made jumper, socks for my kids when they were born. I love to do hand embroidery too. I never get tired of sewing.

 This sweet dish is called Zilapi. Every Ramadan time I make this sweet desert.

This one is another sweet dish name Teler Pitha (oil cake). This one is my husband's favourite dish.

 This is hand sewing embroidery which I made for my cute sister Sharmin.

" Love of learning " Award

Last week my kids celebrated Education week at Ingleburn Public school. Some students performed and some chosen students received an award, award for their love of learning. One in every class is especially selected by their teacher and my son Saqib is the lucky one from their class!

They also had an open class, where parents got to go inside and check what they have been learning , see their arts and crafts and everything. Then parents spent their lunch with their kids! It was a day well spent !                                                                                                                                          

 

China visit

Hello friends...this February me and my family went to China....we had great fun there...we visited Guangzhou city. I liked the city very much....weather was so good...it was just perfect not so hot not too cold..... we enjoyed the food too....most fun part was shopping.....I felt that everything was half price than Australia !

   we stayed at Grand continental Service Apartment hotel.......first few floors of the building were whole sale shopping mall....so it was so fun to stay there....my kids were so happy because they bought many toys from there!
